First edition of this biography based on private Roosevelt correspondence by his noted confidant, loyal supporter, and a key proponent to building and finishing the Panama Canal. He also edited the prize-winning collection of letters written to President Roosevelt’s children on hunting, travel, natural history, sports, Presidential trips, and more.
