The full title should read, 'An eighteenth century secretary at war : the papers of William, Viscount Barrington'. First edition. A very good, clean, tight copy in like wrapper. Gilt embossed title to the spine with gilt embossed crest to the front board - original publisher's boards. No inscriptions. A light bump to the tail of the spine with a light associated crease to the wrapper. The wrapper has been price-clipped (by the publisher) and has some fading to the spine of the wrapper.
