This would be the perfect book for someone who reads Civil War material, but doesn't necessarily collect Civil War material. In perfect condition, this biography of General Richard Stoddert Ewell was written by Donald Pfanz, staff historian at Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Parks. Focusing mainly on Ewell's Civil War years, he sheds light on the highly competent general, the man known as Stonewall Jackson's "right arm". This book is an Book Club Edition in superior condition: clean, tight, no soiling or markings. Dust jacket is also in Fine condition. 655 pages, Maps, illustrations, 11 appendices, notes, bibilography and index. An excellent value.
