Book has lightly rubbed spine ends, top edge foxing, top rear corner has slight bump. Book is tight and square. INSCRIPTION: To Mother and Father [cariticature] Call around when your [sic] in Ottawa Ben Wicks. SIGNED by author with black sharpie. Certainly not a flatsigning ! Unclipped DJ (vg) has top and bottom edge chipping with some loss of material. 2) National Trust Presents Ben Wicks on Mutual Funds, 1994, Ben Wicks and Associates, 95 pp., illustrated by Wicks, (F) , 4 small staple holes at bottom of front panel, ow book is as new, card covers, 7" X 4 1/4", no edition stated. 3) SEARS Presents Ben Wicks' Born to Read and Write, 1996, Self-published by Wicks, illustrated by Wicks, 64 pp., no edition stated. Booklet 8 1/4" X 5 1/4", has differential sunning to white on spine and front panel, ow it too is as new. 4) SEARS Presents Ben Wicks' Born to Read and Share Online: 2000, Ben Wicks and Associates, (vg), illustrated by Wicks, presumed 1st edition, 64 pp., booklet has short crease at top rear corner, edge wear on stapled spine. Wicks ( 1926 - 2000) was born in England and emigrated to Canada and became a self-made cartooning icon. Bookseller's Inventory # 181016.
