About This Item
Kuala Lumpur: Jugra Publications, 2003. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/near fine. 5-6-16. The combination of the water colour artist Chin Kon Yit and architect, Chen Voon Fee are best known for their series of Sketchbooks evocatively brining much of Malaysia to life. Here, in probably a bit of vanity project on the coronation of the new Sultan of Selangor, they combine with the historian John Gullick to give the same treatment to the notable features of the state. Their subjects are mainly a wide range of public buildings used for civic, public and religious purposes from colonial times to the present day. 107 pages. For further details, please see the scanned contents page. 1.4kg Post free within Malaysia but will incur additional postage charges when posted elsewhere.
