Salt Lake City, UT, U.S.A.: Signature Books, Incorporated, 2002. Hardcover. As New/As New. xviii, 631 pages. DJ in archival mylar Brodart protector. This is one of fewer than 40 copies with special signed bookplate prepared by Signature Books exclusive for prepublication sales at Benchmark Books. Signature Books prepared a special signed bookplate exclusively for prepublication orders placed at Sam Wellers and Benchmark Books. Fewer than 40 copies were prepared containing each store's exclusive bookplate. Once the book was released, the remaining bookplates were destroyed. All of the bookplates have Signature Books' logo in the background with Quinn's name and full signature near bottom. The top of the bookplate has a quote from Elder Statesman on books that varies by store. This is the Benchmark Books' bookplate with the quote, "Although he collected a massive personal library that he intended to be self-sufficient for his every need, there were only four novels.--J. Reuben Clark.
