Illustrated with an engraved frontispiece and title page, and eight full page woodcuts, six of these being dinner settings, from five to twenty-one covers. A pirated printing of Hannah Glasse's by Mozley. Illustrated with an engraved frontispiece and title page, and eight full page woodcuts, six of these being dinner settings, from five to twenty-one covers. Publisher's original green printed boards; cracks at center and hinges, but intact. Leaves untrimmed, with deckled edges. A handwritten recipe at the top of the title page verso shows slightly on the recto. Occasional slight browning, otherwise clean and very good. [BL lists copies of two other editions, one 1820 and the other 1868; not listed in the standard bibliographies or in COPAC; Bitting, page 2 (citing a later printing, incorrectly identifies the author as Eliza Acton].
