Marbled endpapers and edges, vignette illustrations, 3 fold-out maps. Presentation bookplate, about 1 / 4 of the first 4 leaves of vol.1 (including frontispiece and title page) are dampstained from the top corner, wear / scuffing around the edges, the title label on vol.1 partially missing and completely missing on vol.2, the front boards have been reattached with pva adhesive and are holding quite nicely.
