About This Item
New York: Simon & Schuster, 2007. Hardback small octavo, dustjacket, very good condition (in very good dustjacket), map, pages lightly toned, minor edgewear jacket, remainder stripe. 239 pp. A biography of the Polish Renaissance genius astronomer that tells the surprising, little-known story behind the dawn of the scientific age. His "On the Revolution of Heavenly Spheres" was published the year he died aged 70.
