About This Item

Boston: Dana Estes & Co, 1898. Cloth. Very good. Maragaret JOHNSON. 12mo oblong; 81pp; black and red illustrations on yellow cloth over board; ownership in ink to free front endpaper; chipping of paper at front hinge where it appears the free endpaper was tipped back in; small hole in cloth at spine, shelf scuffing and light soiling; very good minus. Illustrated within the text and small drawings substituted for words within a sentence (a rebus). Clever and interesting.
