About This Item

Trans-Atlantic Publications, 1994 Illus. by Yelf, Ernest E. (Drawings). Hard cover. Very Good. Very good in very good dust jacket. Near fine in near fine dust jacket. Extremely clean and tight book, appears unread. Hint of rubbing to dust jacket. No price on flap, book club edition. 176 p. The frigates could carry six months' provisions, which meant that they could sail anywhere in the world without having to touch at any port. Full use was made of this mobility, in all the wide oceans of the world. Well might Napoleon say bitterly, 'Wherever you find a fathom of water, there you will find the British. '.
