It contains full biographies of all Australians who have won the Victoria Cross, the supreme decoration for gallantly in battle awarded to Commonwealth forces. Since the book’s first publication, this famous decoration has been won by four more Australians during the Vietnam war. In this new edition, the stories of these ninety-six men have been completely revised to include the latest research and each entry contains a full account of the action which led to the award.
