Synopsis
Peter Cottrell is currently a serving Army officer in the British Army. He recently completed an MA thesis on the Royal Irish Constabulary and is hoping to read a PhD on policing during the Anglo-Irish War. He lives in Wiltshire. Michael McNally was born, raised and educated in London. Of Irish parentage (one from each side of the border) Michael has had an active interest in Irish history, and military history in particular, from boyhood. Brendan O'Shea is a serving officer in the Irish Army, and has recently completed the Command & Staff Course at the Military College, Co Kildare. He is the author of Crisis at Bihac and edited In The Service of Peace . Gerry White is a serving Irish Army officer and co-author of The Barracks . Together with Brendan O'Shea, he has written several articles for An Cosantoir, the Irish defence forces magazine.
