London: Routledge & Kegan Paul, 1980. First Printing. Hardcover. Very good/very good. Publisher's boards in dust jacket, very good copy with minor wear and soil, text clean and unmarked. 261 pp, illustrated. Mansfield, ill with tuberculosis, came to Gurdjieff at Fontainbleau in late 1922 and ended up dying there in early 1923. This book explores what took place there and the repercussions afterward.
