About This Item

Paris: Editions de la Maison d'Art. Hardcover. Very good. This volume contains charming hand colored plates of French women's' fashions, beginning with the year 1801 and ending with 1850. With an introduction in French. Large 4to, teg, unpaginated, 50 hand color plates, complete. One half red leather with marbled boards and title in gilt on decorative spine. Spine is rubbed and top one half inch of leather at spine is missing, without affecting title. Internally very good, with the hand colored plates clean and bright.
