About This Item
St. Vladimirs Seminary Press, June 1987. Paper Back. New. Though the terms 'devotional' and 'theological' can never be far apart in describing the writings of Alexander Schmemann, it would be convenient to describe this book as a more theological and historical exploration of the Liturgy as contrasted with the more devotional approach of his better-known For the Life of the World. He considered this his magnum opus. It is worthy of the appellation.
