Includes chronologies of both Schoenberg and Kandinsky and program notes for the CD. A vibrant account of how music and painting drew inspiration from one another during an era of extraordinary artistic synergy. The archival CD includes Schoenberg's compositions performed at the January 1911 concert, which was the catalyst for the events and works on which this exhibition and catalogue are based. An amazing catalogue.
