London: Charles Tilt, 1836 Book. Fair. Hardcover. 2nd Edition. Fair two volume set in burgundy cloth with gilt spine lettering; spines sunbleached to brown; corners bumped and rubbed, boards somewhat bowed; top of spine on vol 1 is chipped; spine on vol 2 split at gutters, but holding; all plates present (109 total) gift inscription on tpp dated Dec 25, 1838; plate #3 in vol 1 is detached, but present (facing p.5) torn rfep on vol 2 has 2/3 missing. Second Edition; exteriors a bit rough, but interiors are clean & generally tight with minimal foxing; all maps present.
