About This Item
ThisAfrican-American football cornerback played for the San Francisco 49ers (1958-64) and St. Louis Cardinals (1965-66), participating five times in the All-Pro and Pro Bowl games. Handsome, bold signature in black ballpoint on a heavy stock 5" X 3" card, dated by him 24 October 1977 at upper right and noting "SF 49ers" below his signature. Fine. Original transmittal envelope present. Accompanied by a fine, heavy stock 8" X 10" high-quality reproduction of artist Robert Riger's rendering showing 49er Woodson running with the ball, protected on both sides by teammates Mike Magac at left and Chuck Sieminski at right.
