The third and final installment of the "Naked Gun" film series, based on the "Police Squad!" television series. Leslie Nielsen reprises his role as Lieutenant Frank Drebin, this time called out of retirement to help solve a bomb threat, scheduled to explode during the Best Picture award announcement at the Academy Awards. His wife Jane (Priscilla Presley) leaves him due to his returning to police work, but they fall back in love again when she ends up helping him solve the case in true slapstick fashion.

Set in California, and shot there on location.
