Based on the 1933 novel by Robert Hitchens. A woman is on trial for possibly poisoning her husband, but the lawyer hired to defend her in court becomes unhealthily obsessed over her.
Set in London, England, shot on location in Cumbria, England.
Gray titled wrappers, noted as Trailer Dialogue Cutting Continuity on the front wrapper, dated February 27, 1948. Five leaves, with last page of text numbered 5. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine, bound with two staples along the top edge.
