Tall 4to., 672 pp., 289 illustrations. Red cloth in tan and green dust jacket. The jacket id chipped, with a small loss on the rear panel. SIGNED by Herbert Hoover with a short inscription on the front end paper. The famous Hoover translation of the unabridged edition of the greatest treatise on technological chemistry, mining, geology and engineering of early modern times.
