I'm Thrilled score has arithmetic additions in pencil on front and rear cover.

Spine cocked (because of the scores), and dampstaining along the bottom edge, a good copy. The scores are usually lacking. Very uncommon.

Published one year before his death and shortly after his entry into the Army. This copy has separate scores for Song of the Volga Boatman and I'm Thrilled included which are discussed as examples in the text. Bound in red cloth with very minor edge wear. Not stated but assumed first edition, first printing. ALSO INCLUDED are much sought after 2 MUSICAL SCORES loosely inserted: "I'M THRILLED" first page has edge chipping due to page being larger than others and minor yellowing, and "SONG OF THE VOLGA BOATMEN" stamped "Bradbury Wood Ltd. 142, Charing Cross Road, WC2" (London, England).
