This book is illustrated throughout with 173 color plates and 488 black and white illustrations. Interior of the boards, both front and rear, are illustrated with a map of Canada and many small bird sketches.
Dust Jacket has numerous rips, with some pieces missing from spine.
Binding solid except for rear hinge detached halfway up from bottom. 2 pricing notes pencilled in on front endpaper. Page 172 has small tear on bottom.
