London: Ward, Lock & Co. Ltd., 1915. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Presentation Copy Signed By Author. First Printing of the First Edition. Very good, with some wear to extremities, and lacking a pictorial cover illustration. Colour frontis. 304 pages, and 18 pages of publisher's ads. An important association copy, with a full page , handwritten dedication to Isabel Thorn, who is credited on the dedication page. Author's handwritten presentation on the front endpaper, also credits Thorn with helping to create Sanders and Bosambo. Three printed poems of Wallace are tipped to the front paste down, and the 2 endpapers, following the presentation inscription. The signature is dated " the day of the blockade, Feb. 18, 1915. This copy came from the library of Frederick Niven, who was married to Isabel Thorn's daughter, Mary. There are also some annotations to the Contents page, probably in Thorn's hand, but impossible to be sure..
