Some darkening and brown discoloration on cover. Color frontispiece clear with some foxing at edges and age tanning. Tissue guard present in front of title page. Hinge Cracked, binding falls easily open to any page. One full page detached from binding. Unpaginated. Gift Inscription on fep from previous owner dated Oct 13/13 (presumed 1913). Pages unmarked with expected age tanning. Color plate illustrations by Will Vawter throughout crisp with minimal foxing. Gorgeous b&w illustrations accompanying the verse. A charming and beautifully presented collection of beloved Indiana poet James Whitcomb Riley. First Edition
