About This Item
Lyme Regis: Friends of the Museum, 1981. First Edition . Printed Wrappers. Near Fine. Octavo. Lyme Regis; Friends of the Museum, 1981. First Edition, signed by Fowles on the front wrapper. Octavo, unpaginated, but 12 pp. Printed wrappers. Fine; pristine. A publication of the Friends of the [Lyme Regis] Museum, produced by Fowles. Expanded by him to become, a year later, the short book, "A Short History of Lyme Regis" [The Dovecote Press, 1982], shortly thereafter the Little Brown first American edition. One reviewer terms this little pamphlet "charming". A summation of a brevity matching the book, but, in fact, quite accurate. That is the best word for it. In protective transparent mylar jacket.
