Translated from Spanish (Los Muertos Mandan - published 1909) by Frances Douglas. Hinges firm. Tiny bookseller's sticker. Spine darkened and cover faded. Small black stain on back cover. Dampstain along bottom edge of some of text block (not affecting text). This novel is about a rich Majorcan family which falls on hard times. 351 pp. .
