About This Item

In blue cloth with white type to spine. A copy that is well loved and has had some repairs to binding over the years including glue to split at top outside of front spine crease and very bottom of rear spine crease. Fraying to bottom of spine with spots worn through cloth at corners, bottom of boards and one spot to top of front board at spine. Front hinge separated at some point exposing mull and endured some amateur repairs with tape and then glue and is now holding well. 2 inch split still visible to top of front hinge at endpapers and tape shadows/adhesive residue to two pages following including title/copyright page front and back. Front edges of same pages have been trimmed. Last two pages and epilogue also show previous taping with residue and shadows, and trimming to front edges and have been reglued. Spine is slightly cocked and page ends tanned. Jacket is unclipped with notes in pencil to inside of spine and adjacent portions of panels. Tape repairs on insied at corners, spine ends and to splits along front spine crease and bottom of rear flap crease. Another split to body of spine. Small chips/short tears at corners/spine ends and panel ends and creasing overall with tape shadows showing through to rear panel.
