About This Item
From back cover: "In 1934 Hershey published its own chocolate cookbook, filled with all kinds of wonderful chocolate desserts. It is from this source that many of the recipes have been taken and brought up to date for you to use today. ... The Hershey Kitchens have taken painstaking care to assure the same wonderful flavor that has become a trademark of HERSHEY'S baking products throughout the years."
The beginning of the book includes some "Remember when..." history. For example, in the 1930's the hourly wage was 44 cents. Unemployment was high, economy was bad, there was political turmoil, but it was not all bad. A very interesting introduction to a book of recipes.
The cookbook includes: Cakes, Icings & Sauces, Pies, Desserts, Breads, Cookies, Candies, and Beverages. Just flipping through this book the recipes looked delicious,
Condition: Very Good-. The only reason this didn't get a higher rating was the cover - there is some bumping to the corners and spine (and one small chip), plus a slight amount of rubbing. The inside pages are pristine. It is clean and tight as if it had never been used.
Please use photos as part of the description.
128 pages including "Chocolate Hints"
