E. Grant Richards, 1906. Hardcover. Good. 1906. No Edition Remarks. 514 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Book has been rebound by library, with inserts, stamps, call cards and inscriptions. No frontispiece present. Minor thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages, with occasional light dog-earring to page corners. More prominent to text block edges, lighter to newer pastedowns and free endpapers. Binding remains firm. Small black spot to margin of one page. Text block edges slightly nicked. Small edge tears to pp31-46, not affecting the text. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild pen marking and scuffing overall. Spine has subtle tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a pronounced forward lean.
