Its publication came as Keynes's reputation soared in the wake of his masterpiece, 'The General Theory,' of 1936. Some staining to front and rear board adjacent to head of spine, fragmentary loss to paper along front joint. One page with a turn down to corner, else internally, a bright, fresh copy, clean and unmarked.
