The first edition of this scarce work.'The Justification of Andrew Lebrun' follows the eponymous character, a clockmaker and a chemist, who resuscitates a man who has been stuck in suspended animation for a century. However, this newly resurrected man turns to villainy, leading into a gripping melodrama.By Frank Barrett, the pseudonym of Frank Davis. He wrote many novels, one other being science fiction, named 'The Error of Her Ways'.Twenty pages of adverts to the rear, dated July 1894. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Very light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Only a few light marks to the board and spine. Bookplate and bookseller's label to the front paste down. Spots to the endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine
