New Haven: The Limited Editions Club, 1937. Limited edition. Hardcover. Very good. Signed Limited edition #594 of 1500 copies. Sm. octavo. Approx. 6 x 4". pp. SIGNED by illustrator, Valenti Angelo. Full lavender embossed leather. Printed on double folded Japanese Kozo paper with floral borders and gold illumination by Valenti Angelo. Leather is faded on edges and spine. in folding chemise, that is a delicate and has crack on spine. Nice bookplate on the chemise of C.M. Louttit, author and child psychologist. In slipcase that has rubbing to corners and edges.

"Haji Abdu El-Yezdi," is a pseudonym of Sir Richard Burton, so the book was written by him and is not from an original Persian text.
