Chapman & Hall Ltd, 1893. Hardcover. Good. 1893. Ashbury Edition. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Contains two books, bound together and paginated separately. 'John Knox' also included as part of second title. Blue cloth covered boards with gilt. Library copy with expected markings, stamps etc. Volume V in this series. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding is shaky. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail and joints. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate tanning to spine.
