Paperback. Penguin. UK. 1989. Paperback. 'M. Butterfly' by David Hentry Hwang. This book is a first edition with full number-line. 1993 Pulitzer Prize for Drama finalist. In that same year a film of the same name was shown, starring Jeremy Irons and John Lone. A handsome, bright copy. M Butterfly is a play set in a Paris prison and scences from the past are set in Beijing. Winner of several awards including the Tony Award in 1988 for best play. This copy has bright covers with striking cover art of a silver butterfly against a black background. The covers are bright and glossy with very good edges and tips. The spine is bright and unbroken with a tiny dot of rub towards the top. The is a very light indent to the back cover but this has not broken through. The contents are a little age-toned otherwise unmarked. Not exlib and packed and sent with care .
