Minor bumping to spine ends and corners of light green boards, ut otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. Originally published in 1955, a bleak tale of village life in north-west Wales. Translated into Welsh as "Etifedd y Glyn" in 1981 and adapted as a television series in Wales in 1994 as " Brodyr a Chwiorydd" (Brothers and Sisters) . 255pp.. Book Club (BCE/BOMC). Hard Cover. Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
