One of Wodehouse's earliest works, 'Mike' (1909), was largely forgotten until his career was more established, when it was revised and republished on both sides of the Atlantic as 'Mike at Wrykyn'. This volume contains the first part of the original book, where the second part was published as 'Mike and Psmith', also in 1953.In the publisher's original price unclipped dust wrapper.An entertaining and humorous school cricket novel.With an advertisement leaf to the rear. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Shelf wear to spine tail, with minor bump to spine head, otherwise externally excellent. Front hinge lightly strained. Dust wrapper exceptionally bright, with light edgewear to back strip head, and minor loss to back strip tail. Light marks to rear wrap. Internally, binding somewhat strained to the centre of the work. Pages clean and bright. Very Good
