New Directions. Norfolk, Connecticut. 1942. FIRST EDITION. 8vo. (9 x 6.1 inches). One of only 2000 copies printed. Fine in publishers pale blue boards with black lettering to the front. In the original pale blue dustwrapper with price ($1.00) still intact to inner front flap. Just a hint of fading to the blank spine but overall a fine copy in a very near fine dustwrapper. Berryman's first book, issued in New Direction's Poet of the month series.
