Boston and New York: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1899. Household Edition. Hardcover book bound in the publisher's full decorative cloth-gilt. 21 cm. 955 pages. All book block edges coated in gilt. Contains 127 black-and-white illustrations. The book is in near fine condition. "Christmas 1907" neatly penned to the bottom edge of the front loose end page. No other ownership marks/writing present within. Hinges tight, interior pages bright. Light edge wear/bumping, rubbing, soiling to the cloth covers. A lovely copy.
