The focal point of the festival was a 1000-foot-long quilted banner; representing every state in the union, called From Sea to Shining Sea." This book offers some of the finest examples and their stories of inspiration to be part of this patriotic project. Historical events and buildings, seasons, landmarks all depicted lovingly in stitches. .
