With a treatise on Carnations (pp 93-164), and a Catalogue of Plants, including anemones, ranoncules de Tripoly, tulipes, and iris bulbeaux.
[viii], 224, [8] pp.12mo, contemporary full calf, rubbed/scuffed, raised bands and gt tooling to spine, wormhole to foot of spine; rear joint partly split, but firm. Some foxing; old book-label for "Sappey, médecin a Cerdon (Ain)" with shelf-number in ink to front pastedown.
A very pleasing copy of a rare work on flowers.
