Small octavo (5 x 3 inches); 95pp. In early nineteenth century red full straight grain morocco, gilt rolls to board margins, gilt rolls dividing spine into six compartments, gilt lettered title direct to spine in second compartment, remaining compartments gilt, board edges gilt, original marbled endpapers, old ownership nae to head of title page (M G Campbell), Thomas Munro's engraved heraldic book plate to front pastedown, engraved frontispiece and title page,paper lightly browned (more heavily at opening and closing leaves), overall a delightful example of this small travelling edition from the collection of Thomas Munro (1761-1827), Scottish soldier and Governor of Madras between 1820-1827.
