BINDING/CONDITION: beige cloth; the top edge tint is blue; a inch-long rubbed spot along the bottom edge, a Good book, with a Fair dust jacket; the jacket is quite presentable but has some problems on the rear flap.. 8vo (8.5 inches tall) . Description: Dust jacket art by Andrew Wyeth. This was the final novel in a series set in colonial America called The Disinherited. This was the last novel since the author died the following year (it may not have been planned as the last). This book follows The Forest and the Fort and Bedford Village. The series relates the life of a frontiersman who was kidnapped as a boy by Shawnee Indians in the 1750s. The three novels were later published in a one volume edition titled City in the Dawn.
