Rear board is almost completely detached from spine. Spine ends have been torn away, and remaining spine has become detached from left edge. Marbled page block and endpapers. Extensive age-spotting and fading to first and last few pages; minor age- spotting and fading to remainder of book. Very small print. Binding appears sound. Text and illustrations remain clear. AF. Hardcover. Good/No Dust Jacket. Used.

Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Occasional thumb-marking present. Cracking to hinges with exposed binding. Some small tears to edges of pages. Binding is slightly shaky. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Some minor dark marking to surfaces.
