Sacajawea was a 16 year-old Shoshoni Indian who with her husband and child traveled with the Corps of Discovery and Lewis and Clark across the Louisiana Purchase acting as negotiator, translator, botanist, guide, and food gatherer. Taken from the journals of Lewis and Clark, a clear accurate account of the twenty-one months she spent with them now paints the picture of a resourceful teenager who mad enormous contributions to the expeditions. A clean very presentable copy.
