Paris: Calmann-Levy, Editeurs, 1908. Hardcover. Good +. 6 1/2 x 9 1/2 in. Red half crushed morocco, with marbled paper boards, bound by Brentano's, NY. 5 raised bands and gilt lettering on spines. Marbled endpapers. Gilt upper text block. Small David B. Ogden bookplate on front paste down. Condition of the books is GOOD+ : Vol I has one raised band chewed, as well as front and back edges of cover, and worm damage on base of spine. Both vol have very slight wear to leather and boards, otherwise very tight and clean. Foxing to edge and bottom of text block. Both have a handwritten note in French bound into title page, on a small triangle of tissue. Text in French."Tome i" : lxxxiii, 553 pgs. Condition : GOOD+ : mouse damage as noted, worm damage and wear to spine. Text very clean, binding very tight."Tome II" : 483 pgs. Condition : VERY GOOD : slight wear to spine edges bands and corners, otherwise a very tight, clean copy.
