Description:
Jargon 58, The Jargon Society, 1971. First edition, first printing. Very close to fine and bright in like pictorial dustjacket. The usual bold and clean presentation with some invention from the Jargon Society. Metcalf had a close association with its publisher Jonathan Williams. Here we have literary, geography and history melding together beautifully with Indians of South America, Henry Ford, and Metcalf weaving together a tale between the two. The poem is only as Metcalf has shown to do with history, fiction and poetry together. From the library of Janine Pommy Vega who has written (typed) a long appreciation showing her enthusiasm for her close friend Paul Metcalf. Plus a full page declaration of friendship between Paul Metcalf and Janine Pommy Vega on the opening flyleaf dated 1979 and fully signed
