4x6" original black and white photograph, mounted to archival card stock, hand printed, mounted, signed, dated 1968 and titled by the photographer on lower edge mount, mint condition (larger images on acid-free fiber based paper are also available, please inquire for availablity and details) Lenny Sinclair was born in East Germany and came to the United States in 1963. She settled in Detroit where she met and married John Sinclair and together they founded the Detroit Artist Workshops and later the White Panther Party and Rainbow Peoples Party. As the minister of Culture and Information, Leni produced a vast archive that catalogs the Detroit area musicians and artists of the period 1965-1990s. Her work has appearead in numerous publications and record albums. .
