New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1894 IN GOOD CONDITION. xx, 296pp, bound in original decorative cloth, frontis has tissue guard intact, complete with 23 plates as called for, with head & tail-pieces throughout. Covers show bumped/worn corners, edgewear, dimmed gilt on spine, light surface rubbing, hinges are tight, a few signatures starting.

The Boston Map Store, 1889 IN GOOD CONDITION. Folds out to 32 inches by 22 inches. Hand coloured map of Boston and the Country Adjacent, from actual Surveys. Shows crease tears and stains.

Newfoundland: Collected By VON, Victorian Order of Nurses - Corner Brook Branch, 1999 IN AS NEW CONDITION. SIGNED COPY. vi [2] 126pp, spiral bound, in original stiff wraps. Warmly inscriped "Dear Ann & Don, Hope you enjoy the reading. A few mistakes - our first attempt. Love and God Bless, Eileen (Powell)". Eileen provided the dedication, and numerous poems, along the occasional correction. Memories, experiences, short stories and poems, from the Senior population of Corner Brook, Bay of Islands and surrounding area of the West Coast of Newfoundland.

1910 IN GOOD++ CONDITION. Circa 1910? Accordian folding book, measuring 4-1/4 inches tall, by 2 inches wide, with 24 folding panels, depicting 6 hand-painted, ink and watercolor scenes of graphic, erotic sexual positions. The male genitals are not exaggerated, the scenes are depicted unclothed, while laying on rugs, leaves and fabric. The females depicted have unbound hair, sometimes wearing a red ribbon in it. No text on panels. Covers are paper over boards, with Chinese characters on front and back covers. Small corner damp mark, not affecting the images, slight rubbing to edges, occasional light foxing. COLORS ARE STILL VIBRANT.

Covers show corner/edge wear, chips to upper backstrip edge, leather starting flake on spine, lacks corner of ffp, ownership in pencil, notes on back free endpapers in pencil, occasional foxing.

Kerala, India: Original Manuscript Circa 18th - 19th Century. From the Collection of Jacques Marchais [1887-1948] who in 1938 opened an Indian and Tibetan Art Gallery in Manhatten, to fund her desire to build a center of Tibetan Art on her property in Staten Island, showing her label on the wooden cover. The polished, bevelled wooden boards measure 9-1/2" long by 1-1/4" top to bottom. The stack measures 2-1/4" thick with the wooden covers, and 1-3/4" thick without the wooden covers, with a jute cord running through two holes in the book. With 82 leaves total, which were inscribed with a sharp stylus, then covered in ink made from oil and lampblack, wiping off the excess to reveal the Malayalam script.
